Organized by the Sport and Politics Research International Network (SPRING), this conference examines the dynamic interplay between sport and regional, national, and global identities. To be held at the University of Galway, Ireland, the event will address topics such as nationalism, globalization, migration, gender, and the role of mega-events in identity construction. It targets scholars from various disciplines, including sociology, political science, history, and media studies, and is currently open for paper submissions.
