The event focuses on the future vision of Québec's mining and energy resources, aiming to promote synergy and the exchange of scientific knowledge. Held in Québec City, the organization brings together government, academia, and industry leaders through conferences, exhibitions, and short courses. The participation of youth is also supported with the QM+É Discovery component for students. The event is hosted by the Ministère des Ressources naturelles et des Forêts du Québec.
