"Türbülanslı Zamanlarda Küresel Sosyoloji" teması altında toplanacak etkinlik; krizlerin sosyal kökleri, eşitsizlikler, kurumların yeniden şekillenmesi ve yapay zekanın bilgi üzerindeki etkileri gibi konuları ele alacaktır. Küresel araştırmacıları hedefleyen kongre, disiplinler arası bir diyalog kurmayı amaçlamakta olup bildiri özetleri için çağrı süreci devam etmektedir.

The XXI World Congress of Sociology, organized by the International Sociological Association, will take place from July 4 to 10, 2027, in Gwangju, South Korea. Under the theme "Global Sociology in Turbulent Times," the event will address topics such as the social roots of crises, inequalities, the reshaping of institutions, and the impact of artificial intelligence on knowledge. Targeting a global community of researchers, the congress aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and is currently accepting calls for abstracts.
